Alicia Perreras, age 96, of Oakland Park, Florida, passed away on October 9, 2022 in Oakland Park, Florida. Alicia Perreras was born in Alto Songo, Oriente de Cuba to Antonio Thomas Palancer Quintana

and Digna Isabel Baltazar Oroceno on January 29, 1926. She attended primary school in

Santiago de Cuba and then graduated from Minerba Art School. Alicia married Faustino

Perreras on November 8, 1958 in Santiago de Cuba. In the United States, she worked as a line

assembler for Novatronics for 14 years and Acme Plastics for 5 years. Following her retirement,

she enjoyed volunteering with her church and spending time with her family and friends.

Alicia Perreras is preceded in death by Antonio Thomas Palancer Quintana, Digna Isabel

Baltazar Oroceno, Herlinda Palancar, Norma Palancar, Isabel Palancar, Antonio Palancar, and

Douglas Palancar.

Alicia Perreras is survived by her husband, Faustino; her sons, Alexis and Dexter; her

daughters-in-law, Daysi and Debora; her grandchildren, Lexie, Melissa, and Joshua; her

great-grandchild, Cooper; and her sister, Xiomara Barrios. Although she is no longer with us, we

are at peace knowing that she is in the loving arms of our beautiful Lord. Alicia will always be in

our memories and in our hearts.
