Alan Sanchez is survived by his sisters, Marcela Anderson, Angela Sanchez and Pamela Sanchez. As well as his wife, Giannelli Vignati; and parents, Ricardo and Regina Sanchez.
Alan Sanchez was born on July 1st, 1988 in Miami, Florida, to parents, Ricardo and Regina Sanchez. As a child, he developed a deep love for soccer while participating in various youth leagues in the West Kendall and Hammocks areas. He quickly became known for his fun spirit and contagious laughter. He went on to attend Felix Varela Sr. High where he led the team to a state championship and accomplished several individual recognitions including 1st team all dade honors. He then attended North Carolina State University in Raleigh, NC on an athletic scholarship where he excelled on the soccer field and received all conference honors. He graduated with a degree in Sports Management in 2010. After graduation, he went on to play semi-professional soccer for Maryland FC. Alan came back home to Miami to discover a new passion in coaching at Weston FC. For almost 10 years, Alan coached and mentored countless young athletes. He felt a sense of fulfillment and pride in each of his player’s achievements. On September 3rd, 2017, he
married his wife, Giannelli Vignati. They have a beautiful golden retriever, who was Alan’s baby, Bellucci.
Alan was a special son, brother, husband, and uncle and touched so many lives in his short time on earth. He will forever be remembered as a friend, coach, mentor and so much more.
Alan was a friendly, fun loving, active man who was deeply involved in the South Florida community for the majority of his life. He enjoyed making everyone laugh, even if it was at his expense. He had a contagious smile and laugh that brought joy to everyone around him. He had a way of including and connecting to everyone, players of all ages and adults twice his age. He could pick up a conversation with anyone and make you feel like you’ve known him forever. A once in a lifetime person who will live on in the hearts of each person’s life that he touched.
A viewing is scheduled for Monday on December 7th, 2020, at 2401 Southwest 69th ave from 1:00pm to 10:00pm with a short service at 7:00pm. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Alan Sanchez’s life. The family would like to thank everyone for their support through this extraordinarily difficult time.
