I was shocked and saddened to hear of Dr. Sood's passing.  His empathy, caring, knowledge, and kind demeanor were well known by all.  He was a wonderful physician and human being and will be dearly missed.

My family and I are extremely shocked and sincerely saddened and dismayed about the passing of Dr. Ajay Sood in October 2020.

I had not seen a doctor since 2018. I sprained my ankle and called Dr. Sood's office this morning to ask if he would be in today, and I was told of his passing. 

My family and I have chosen to be treated by Dr. Sood for many years rather than to be treated by our primary care physicians because Dr. Sood was (and will always be) by far the absolute best doctor my family has ever had the privilege of knowing and being under his care. 
He is the most thorough, caring, compassionate, knowledgeable, down-to-earth doctor imaginable. My family and I loved how he was never in a rush, he listened to all our concerns, he treated us with the best genuine care, dedication, undivided attention and he even drew illustrations so that we could better understand our conditions and treatment. (We loved and appreciated his drawings.)

The world has suffered a great loss with his passing, and Heaven has unequivocally gained a precious angel. 

His smile, his memory and his unconditional love for all, will forever live on in our hearts!

I have no words so describe the sadness I feel inside from hearing of Dr. Soods passing. He was definitely one of a kind. He wouldn't just prescribe medicines he would first try to care for you in the most natural way possible. He's the reason I would come to the Urgent Clinic even though I have insurance I didn't mind paying to come and get treated by him. He has also taken care of my kids and my husband. Truly a healer.  I first came in to see him when I needed stitches on my hand, he made me feel so calm and did such a good job! Tonight I came to the clinic looking forward to soak in his knowledge and discuss my health - I found out he's no longer with us. I'm devastated and it's a great loss to this community.  My prayers and thoughts are with his family,  friends and patients. He was truly admired. 

I was saddened to learn of Dr. Sood's passing - he was a caring doctor with a wealth of information, and he is missed. My condolences to his friends, family and patients, the world lost a good one.

Dr Sood was the BEST! I saw him a few times and he was so caring, explained everything and just a terrific Dr. You don’t find Dr’s like him .

My deepest condolences to the Dr. Sood’s family. He was the most amazing doctor!!! He explained things so so well. I felt like he wasn’t just a doctor he was a teacher as well.  

I  must confess that before I would head to the urgent care. I would call first and see if he was the Doctor in the office before I would head there. I would often go to Dr. Sood instead of my general practitioner or take my 3 children here before my pediatrician. I trusted him so much. My family has been using this office for over 7 years and we were never disappointed. He will truly be missed. My family and I are truly heartbroken!!!! 

What can someone say about such a dedicated doctor. I’ve never meet a doctor or any professional who had so much dedication or even a fraction of the amount that this great man gave to his profession. I was blown away today and tried hard not to cry when I found out. I’m tearing now as I write this cause he will be missed in this world I’m sure.  Some people make an impact in other peoples lives for the better and he helped all of my family when we would visit. 
To his surviving family, I wish you the best as he would want you to have.  I’ve been with him from the start up and saw him many times look so tired and over worked. Last  time I saw him he said I want more time off from here to spend with my family and I can’t seem to get away.

Dr Sood was a great physician. A true original who always strived to do what was best for  his patients. It was a true pleasure to work next to him.

My family is very sad to hear this heartbreaking news.  Dr. Sood was one of the good ones.   I believe "Family Practice" could have been his middle name.  He actually listened and spent time as if the patient he was with was the only one there.  Dr. Sood was a rare gem.  We have all lost a doctor and a friend. I am in disbelief that Dr. Sood is gone. He was an amazing Dr. that took his time to always made you feel better.  My heart hurts for his family! What a tragic loss for our community!

I visited the Urgent Care Center several times. Dr.Sood was a very good Doctor and a friendly and kind person. He knew exactly what to do and I always recovered quickly. Quick Family Urgent Care is where I go whenever I cannot make it to my reg Drs ever since  workers comp sent me there when I hurt my ankle at Mc Donalds back in 2013.  Dr Sood was my Dr the whole case and he was a damn good one; always took his time and took good care of me.  Prayers for all family and friends of his 🙏💙

A loss for the whole community.  The best doctor I ever encountered. He saw my sister when everyone refused to in the beginning of the pandemic. Told me and my mom how he puts 100 percent of himself in bring a doctor. Anyone who was ever his patient certainly felt it.  Praying for his family members and friends during this hard time. 

My deep condolences to Dr. Sood's family, we are saddened by his unexpected passing. Dr. Sood treated myself and family members for many years, he was a trusted and skilled physician. He was there when we needed him and it was usually after hours and weekends. I just saw him two weeks ago and didn't know I was saying thank you and goodbye for the last time. We will miss you very much and we pray for his family's strength at this extremely difficult time. Thank you Dr. Sood for always being when we needed you. Fondly,  Debbie Curry and family.

Dr. Ajay was kind & full of compassion. He always took the time to explain your illness or problem, how to avoid it from recurring again. He was my 1st line of medicine as I do not trust Dr's.

My heart is so heavy to hear this news. I have been seeing Dr. Sood since he opened his office. He also saw my daughter and son. He was a doctor that they just dont make any more. Even if his office was packed he would spend so much time explaining, helping and listening. I always felt as though i was his only patient in the office. We would talk about our families, laugh...it was more like i was going to see a part of my family.  I am beyond saddened. I recall back during med school at UNIBE, I was part of the football team and Ajay was there for the first time and I saw him run over one of the biggest guys. It was a textbook tackle. We both helped out the guy he tackled. That guy was Barry Severs, he got up and told him, “Ajay I’ve got to shake your hand,  no one has ever tackled me like that” I looked at Ajay and told him, “ that was a helluva tackle” to this day I don’t t know how Barry got up. Ajay just smiled and as soft spoken as he always was, didn’t say much. RIP Ajay.

Wonderful memories with Ajay and Diana in medical school.  Our group loved hanging out, studying together, partying together! 
We are so very sorry to hear of Ajay's untimely passing.  We pray all his family and friends stay strong and we will get through these tough times together.
