Bob was born on September 30, 1957 in Powassan, ON to the late Cye and Ina Crawford. He attended the Algoma Highlands School as a young man. Bob drove truck all over Canada before settling in Fort Frances in 2005. While here he worked for various trucking companies including Hiekki Lampi, Mel DeGagne, Witherspoons and Claude Jodoin. He ran the Kitchen Table Restaurant for 2 years. Bob enjoyed attending stock car races, old car shows and tinkering with project vehicles.
He leaves behind his common law spouse Joan Ronmark; her children Michelle Ronmark (Leonard Pittman), Richard Ronmark (Kalan) and Sandra Gamie (Brian); grandchildren Tatum, Hayden and Mason; son John Crawford; brothers John Crawford (Selene) and Jason Holtorster and their families.
Bob was predeceased by his parents Cye and Ina; grandsons Brandon Ronmark and Matthew Gamie.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, August 28, 2019 from 1 until 3 p.m. at the LaPlace Rendezvous in Fort Frances, ON.
