Andre was born on December 22, 1911 in Prudhomme, Saskatchewan to the late Ferdinand and Juliette Doucette. As a young child he moved along with his parents to Fort Frances. He farmed in the district for a number of years. He enjoyed biking and reading and was an inventor. He was never judgmental and was very helpful to many people.
Left to cherish his memory are his two sisters-in-law Elsie Doucette of Fort Frances and Audrey Doucette of Kenora as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents Ferdinand and Juliette Doucette, brothers Albert, Henry, Alphonse and Marcel and sisters Grace Cote and Cecile Braconnier.
A graveside service to celebrate Andre’s life will be held on Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the Holy Cross Cemetery in Fort Frances. Interment will follow the
graveside service.
