Dear Paulette,
On the day of Bill’s funeral, you came so strongly in my mind. We have lost contact over the years but I haven’t forgotten you and Bill and our wonderful get together at Bangs Lake with the Kernan gang . How well I understand your pain of loss having lost my husband and young son at an early age and now just two years ago losing my second husband. You will be in my prayers and Bill will be included daily in my prayers for all who have died. 
I just learned today about Bill’s death in a text from Kathy Inorio. I’m wrapping all of your family right now in a special prayer

Grandpa, you were a man of few words but the warmth and love you expressed was always so genuine. I felt so lucky when you invited me to ride in your Sunbeam with you. You drove me around Riverside, with the top down, on a warm summer evening speeding through those winding tree lined streets - a glamorous, golden memory I cherish.

Thanks, Dave, for the line from a Scot from Kirnan. It's what I was thinking but could not express. Bill will be remembered in the hearts of his huge, great family. He was indeed a "family man."

I was so sorry to hear of Bills passing, I know he is at peace and was welcomed into Heaven by many friends and family members.  Thank you Paulette for sharing a little glimpse into yours and Bills life, it was truly lovely.  My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Dear Paulette and Family,
I would like to extend my deepest sympathy to you on the passing of 
Bill.   I went to grade school with him and recently saw him at a gathering at Bill and Karen Poole's home. Of course, it was prior to Covid.  
I always enjoyed talking to Bill who had so many interests in his life. He was helpful in helping get our 60 year reunion  into a reality.
His humor was also enjoyable. 
He will be missed by all.

I got to visit with my Uncle Bill in the fall of 2022. Even tho he was having a hard time with pain and other problems, he was the same kind, gentle, uncomplaining and good humored person as always. 

Love you Uncle. I know you are in a better place.

Grandpa/Dad,
I will never forget walking down the enlisted brow off my ship after a long 8 month deployment to greet you and my mother to see how proud you were of me that brought tears to the both of us.  It was just a beautiful moment that replays in my thoughts and will I cherish for the rest of my life. You are the best grandfather anyone could ever ask for, you will be deeply missed, but never forgotten and I will always keep you in my conversation's. I love you Grandpa.
