Theresa Marie Harris

On November 23, 1955 a beautiful baby girl was born into this world, Theresa Marie Harris, to Nellie Mae Thomas and Montez Reynolds. She was the first born daughter, sister to Marilyn Thomas.

Theresa joined the Post Office her Senior year of high school and met a young Rick Harris. With their strong bond they were married in 1979. Through this union they bore a daughter, Ashley Nicole Harris. With their big hearts they soon welcomed two girls into the Harris Family, Ramona Daniels and Sunita Mitchell.

She was an expert landscaper and gardener, seafood lover, and a true friend to all. Theresa had so much love in her heart which shows through all of her friendships throughout childhood, work, and many wonderful neighbors.

On August 7th 2022 Theresa departed this life and is now at peace in Heaven. Theresa had the strongest will and spirit, and we will forever miss her in our hearts.

A visitation for Theresa will be held Saturday, August 13, 2022 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 7750 West Cermak Road, Forest Park, Illinois 60130. A prayer service will occur Saturday, August 13, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 7750 West Cermak Road, Forest Park, Illinois 60130. A committal service will occur Saturday, August 13, 2022 from 12:15 PM to 1:00 PM at Oak Ridge Cemetery, 4111 Roosevelt Road, Hillside, Illinois 60162.
