My dearest Patrick,
Every day and every time I revisit our memories together,
they bring me joy and comfort.
Our memories are wonderful chips on my shoulders that I carry with me: they honor you,
they salute you,
they express you,
and they show our love.
Our love is constant, and it will linger in the air,
cells, and in this world forever.
Now, you stand at heaven's gates,
Wearing white for Eastertide
and feeling the keen, cool rush of the air pushing you slowly.
I will parade our twenty-five years like feathers in a hat and carefully avoid whatever may jolt my mind to forget.
Your Beloved Tuan
Thank you, family and friends, for the beautiful and countless messages about my heart and beloved Patrick. We pray the Lord will show mercy on Patrick's soul and give us peace that Patrick is home with the Lord. Losing Patrick is a traumatic event for all of us, and we are dealing with his death in many different ways. Patrick was loved and blessed to have good friends and a caring and loving family. May the angels in heaven guide him home while holding his hands.
