Margaret M. Skelly nee Avena, 80 of Chicago, passed away peacefully on September 7, 2017. Beloved wife of the late Donald; cherished mother of Margo (Gregory) Farago and Don (Fran) Skelly; proud grandmother of Tyler, Ryan and Brett Skelly; fond aunt and cousin to many. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, George and Margaret (nee Bruno) Avena, as well as her siblings, Gloria (Frank) Petrucci, Camille (Phil) Marcadente, George Avena Jr. and Geraldine (William) Guidi. A visitation will be held at St. Vincent Ferrer Catholic Church (1530 Jackson Ave, River Forest, IL) from 9-10 AM with a Funeral Mass to follow on Thursday, September 14th.
