Margaret Helen Cukale

Margaret Helen Cukale, age 100, passed away peacefully on May 13, 2022 at her home in Bethlehem Woods in LaGrange Park, Illinois. Beloved Wife of the late Thomas Cukale for over 50 loving years. Adored mother of Lenore (Robert) Urbanski, and the late Thomas Cukale and Norman Cukale. Cherished grandmother of Thomas Cukale, Deanna (John) Swicionis, Robert (Christina) Urbanski, Michael (Tara) Urbanski, Norman Cukale, Neil (Jackie) Cukale, Jacob (Angela) Kunda, Gino (Leah) Cukale and the late Anthony Cukale. Loving great-grandmother of Brittney (Anthony) Swicionis, Taylor (Joseph) Stauffer, Rachel Swicionis, Robert Urbanski, Zachary Urbanski, Ellie Urbanski, Michael Urbanski, Kailynn Bures, Gavin Clouse, Nathanial Cukale, Noah Cukale, Mackenzie Cukale.

Margaret Helen worked at Loretto Hospital for over 20 years. Following her retirement Margaret stayed active as a volunteer for Scottish Home. She loved to crochet up until her passing for the Loyola NICU Department. She then moved to Bethlehem Woods where she independently lived for the last 13 years. She was an active community member in music, crochet, Scrabble, and many other activities. She was a key speaker and advocate for Interfaith Community Partners. Margaret Helen was adored and loved by all who came in contact with her.

A Visitation will be held on Thursday May 19, 2022 from 3-8pm at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 7750 West Cermak Road, Forest Park, Illinois 60130. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, May 20, 2022 at 10:30am at Saint Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 125 North Spring Avenue, LaGrange, Illinois 60525. Interment to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park at 12pm, 7750 West Cermak Road, Forest Park, Illinois 60130.
