Luis M. Castaneda, age 50, of Chicago, Illinois passed away on Friday, September 11, 2020. Beloved husband of Socorro; loving father of Samantha (Alan) Flores, Micaela, Ileana and Myra; cherished grandfather of Alejandra, Jacob and Cristian; dear brother and uncle to many.
A visitation for Luis will be held Thursday, September 17, 2020 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 7750 West Cermak Road, Forest Park, IL 60130. In consideration of the safety of our guests and associates, Woodlawn Funeral Home will adhere to the current gathering restrictions in the state of Illinois, which allow 50 or fewer guests at services. Proper social distancing must be practiced and all guests will be required to wear face masks at all times. Thank you for your cooperation. A funeral mass will occur Friday, September 18, 2020 10:00 AM at St. Paul Church 2127 W. 22nd Place Chicago, IL. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery.
