“I have known Louie for about 15 years.  I knew him as Pilar’s son, then as the Office Manager for my practice, and then as a friend.

There is one story that characterizes his caring, compassion, professionalism, and friendly demeanor.

About a year ago, I was sitting at the front desk of my office when a new patient arrived….. I stood shook his and his wife’s hand and introduced myself.  They immediately asked where is Louie… I said he is on vacation.  To which they replied, “We were so looking forward to meeting Louie.  He helped us so much over the phone.  He is absolutely wonderful, so caring and professional.”  Louie listened to everything we said and made our day better.

Now this would be incredible if it just occurred once.  But it did not.  Similar words were uttered over and over again by all who met Louie.

Everyone that met him…. Loved him.  His time on this Earth was far too short but we are all better for having known him.

He was the most compassion individual with patients in the office, always able to see things as they saw them.
