Kay Krakora

Kay Krakora (nee Greco), age 83, resident of Brookfield for over 50 years was born in Berwyn Illinois to the late Anthony and Violet Heisman and passed away June 6th 2020. Married 61 years and preceded in death, to the love of her life the late Joseph Krakora. Loving mother of Pam (Tom) Ackerman, Kathy (Tony) Mogorovic, and Dina (Kevin) Cox; cherished grandmother of Louie (Jessica), Zachary and Anna Dietz; Megan and Sarah Mogorovic; Jason and Katelyn Cox; great grandmother of Teagan Dietz; dear sister of Joanne (Jim) Guastella; cousin of MaryAnn Baur; fond aunt of Dan and Mike (Chrissy) Guastella; great aunt of Grace and Samantha Guastella. Kay adored every moment that she spent with her grandchildren, great grandchildren, family and friends. She simply enjoyed reading a book to feeding the birds, knitting, sewing and even going out to lunch. Kay took pride in her many years at UIC in the department of Graduate Medical Education (GME) with a group of ladies that became life long friends. Funeral Services are private and arrangements have been made by Woodlawn Funeral Home Forest Park, IL .
