Loving mother of Shana (Paul) Gilbertson, Candace (Joe) Militello. Cherished grandmother of Damien, Kailee, Danny, Oliver and Lyanna. Dear sister of Barbara Howard and Patty Newbury.

Kathy was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, and sister. She spent her life making sure all of her babies had what they needed and were loved. She was an amazing cook and truly enjoyed making her delicious food for others. Hardworking doesn’t even come close to describing her work ethic as she found great pride in working at Jewel Foods Store for over 40 years. She loved her coworkers and always put everyone else first before herself. She always had a special place in her heart for those with special needs, especially her Grandson Damien. She enjoyed putting on a great party, spending time with all of her grandchildren, her daughters, and sister. The world will not be the same without her beautiful soul. She will be forever missed and loved. We love you with all of our hearts and souls forever and ever.

A memorial visitation for Kathy will be held Sunday, October 30, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 7750 West Cermak Road, Forest Park, Illinois 60130
