John L. Pokorny Sr., 82 of West Plaines Missouri passed away peacefully on July 20, 2019. John was the beloved husband of the late JoAnne Mack; loving father of John Jr. (Yvonne), Robert (Christine), Thomas and Daniel; cherished grandfather of Nathan Niemynski, Cody Pokorny, Sebastian Pokorny, and Catalina Pokorny; proud great grandfather of Catelin, Haley and Trinity Niemynski, Vincent and Lennox Pokorny; John was the youngest brother of nine siblings; and a fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. A memorial visitation will be held at Woodlawn Funeral Home 7750 W. Cermak Rd. Forest Park, IL 60130 on Friday August 9th from 3-8pm.
