John McElligott, age 87, native of Gunsboro, Listowel, Co. Kerry, Ireland. Survived by his loving family, Alyce Horan, Lisa Lange, Mary (Mark) Seavey and Kevin (Katie) Horan; proud "Papa" of Danny Lange, Deirdre and Colette Seavey; beloved brother of Maura (the late Bud) O'Connor, the late Ted (the late Bridie) McElligott and Kathleen (the late Willie) Hayes; cherished uncle of many nieces and nephews in Ireland, New York and Oregon. US Army veteran, Korea. Member of Carpenter's Local 13, Chicago Park District. Lying in State Thursday, 9:30 a.m. with 11 a.m. Funeral Mass at St. Bernardine Church, 7246 W. Harrison St., Forest Park. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
