Charles J. Valenta

Beloved husband of Ana, nee Garcia. Loving father of Emma. Cherished son of Andre Marie Brake. Dear son-in-law of Ana Garcia. Charles is also survived by many relatives and friends. Charles was a kind and generous person that wanted to make the world a better place. He was a graduate of Morton West High School and UIC. Charles was an advocate for ALS awareness and for improving the quality of treatment for ALS patients like him.

A visitation for Charles will be held Friday, November 1, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 7750 West Cermak Road, Forest Park. Funeral services Saturday, November 2, 11 AM at the Funeral Home. Burial to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park, Forest Park.
