Charlene V Haynes

Our beloved wife, mother, and grandma, Charlene V Haynes, passed away with her family by her side on August 31st 2021 at the age of 70.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 45 years Albert Silva Jr: children: Albert “Ditto” (Elvia), Joshua, Matthew (Zully), Stephanie (Saul): grandchild: Amethyst: as well as other relatives and friends.

First born of two deaf parents Charles & Edith Haynes. Loving older sister to Laurel, George, Eloise, Thomas and Mary Haynes.

Charlene dedicated over 25 years to the United States Post Office and retired January of 2016. She had a passion for reading, musicals and listening to podcasts. She was an adventurous woman and loved traveling and visiting new places. Most importantly, she put her family first and loved quality time with her family.

Visitation to remember her will be held on Tuesday September 7, 2021 from 2:00PM-8:00PM at Woodlawn Funeral Home (7750 Cermak Rd, Forest Park, Illinois 60130).

Funeral service will be Wednesday September 8, 2021 at 9:00AM at the funeral home, burial will follow at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery (87th Street & South Hamlin Ave, Evergreen Park, Illinois 60805).
