Albert S. Jacobson

Al Jacobson, 92, of Lemont, Illinois went to be with the Lord on January 22nd. A lifelong Illinois resident and graduate of the University of Illinois, he was born @ Berwyn Medical Unit on June 21st, 1926 to parents Herbert and Dorothy (née Lundgren) Jacobson; preceded in death by his parents, dear brother Roger and beloved sister Lois. A WWII veteran of the US Navy, he is survived by his wife Doris; his stepchildren Billie and Steven; daughter-in-law Mary (Hulka); grandchildren Aubrey (Henderson), Mallory (Dachenhausen), Ben Hulka, Lauren (Baleski) and Daniel Pacheco. Great grandfather of Camden James and Tate Matthew. Beloved uncle to his nieces and nephews. In addition, Al leaves behind many friends who were touched deeply by his always cheerful outlook and kind disposition. We will miss his laughter, his jokes, and his hugs which always from him came with the words “love you guys!”.

A visitation will be held at Grace Lutheran Church 4101 Wolf Rd. Western Springs, IL 60558 Saturday Jan. 26, 2019 from 9 a.m. until services at 10:30 a.m. Private cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Al’s name to Grace Lutheran Church of Western Springs would be greatly appreciated.
