Our sincere condolences To Audra! and her whole family. Roz was such a beautiful loving soul. I'll always remember her as like a Second Mom to me. Growing up in Glen Oaks. She was sweet, kind, caring, a free spirit. Never judged you. Just accepted you with love and open arms. There is not enough words for me to express how much I'm going to miss her. I am so very sorry to hear this news. I have such fond memories of spending time in her kitchen eating dinner. She was always kind to me and made me feel welcome. My condolences to everyone.

Roz and I shared the love of being first cousins. My memories of her date back to childhood. We played, told stories and shared joys and sorrows. We often included our sisters.
It's hard to believe the phone conversations have stopped. I know she's out of pain and that's a blessing.

Cousin Roz was many thing, but for the Steinbergs, she is remembered as a person loyal to her Judaism, Israel , and her family. Even those who moved away from NY to CA, lost touch, divorced, and not interested in maintaining a relationship, Roz was there forgiving and nonjudgmental. There was always a place for Passover for you and you could always expect a call after an earthquake to make sure you were OK. 
Caring and kindness personified.
A great friend of all and a most loving family figure. She will be missed by all, but always remembered by all.
