Maria “Mara” Salcedo, age 73, of Jamaica, Queens, passed away on Tuesday August 15, 2023. Mara is survived by her husband of 52 years Edmundo Salcedo, her son Eddy Salcedo (wife Jennifer Salcedo) and her two beloved tesorito’s/grandchildren Sidney and Jackson. Mara was greatly loved and will be deeply missed.
A memorial service for Mara will be held Sunday, August 20, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Forest Park Funeral Home, 114-03 Queens Blvd, Forest Hills, NY 11375. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Trevor Project.
