A funeral service for Joel will be held Wednesday, July 24, 2019 from 11:30 AM to 12:15 PM at Schwartz Brothers-Jeffer Memorial Chapel, 114-03 Queens Blvd, Forest Hills, NY 11375. Following the funeral service will be a committal service from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Mount Zion Cemetery, 59-63-54th Ave, Maspeth, NY 11378.

Donations in Joel’s name can be made to the TOL FLOM Fund ℅ Tree of Life 3721 Westerre Parkway Richmond VA 23233. Our father resided at Tree of Life for the past 21 years, and we want nothing more than to give back to those who cared so deeply and compassionately for him. The Tree of Life FLOM Fund was started several years ago by a generous family who was impressed with the mission of TOL and its service to persons with acquired brain injury. The funds are earmarked to support client needs when financial resources are not otherwise available to pay for things like activities, equipment, Brain Injury Association summer camp participation, clothing, among other items.
