I grew up with Igal  living a few blocks South of me in Queens- we went to school together too. 
One day,  years ago searching for a car for a client I walked into  dealership’s on Hillside and ran into Igal.   I brought my sister to him 10 years ago and he sold her a car- 
Igal was fun and playful and probably wild growing up - but I think he had a heart of gold. 
I will miss his FB posts.
What’s really amazing to me is that on Monday, January 8th, as I was heading to a Dr’s appointment on Austin Street , I drove by Schwartz Brother’s Funeral home @ 1:55, and witnessed a guy hugging a girl - and thought - so sad because someone died & she was sad.  I can’t believe that Igal was in there at that moment being eulogized.   My  heart goes out to all who loved him- and to all of us 66 year old  baby boomers who grew up with him.

Rest in  peace  old friend. 
We had some great days in Romenia to remember.

RIP Igal. Thanks for all those deals you got bumped for me and Tom back in the day. You showed us a lot about the business, always willing help out when we needed you. I’ll be sure to pick up my guitar and play a bit in your memory later.

The Shah Family misses you and cherish the wonderful, great memories, and unforgettable conversations we had.

Igal was a great friend to my husband, Roni, and I. He was a lot of fun and you never knew what he might say. We could always count on him if we needed anything. After Roni died, Igal and I became closer as we grieved together. I will truly miss him.

One night, after Igal retired, I totaled my car. I called Igal and told him that I needed a car tomorrow. Before I reached home, about 3 hours later, my husband had copies of a contract for a new car. I wondered how it was possible for Igal to have taken care of that so quickly. When I met him at Nemet the next morning, my question was answered. Igal was well loved and respected by the people that he used to work with. Everyone was elated to see him. That's who Igal was.

Igal is our “bonus” brother. The one we called for car advice or just to chat with. We loved hearing your back in the days stories. We will always remember your infectious laughter, smile and boundless love. We all are in total disbelief that you are no longer on Earth with us. One day we shall reunite and continue another journey but until then, we promise to honor your wishes and take care of Felecia and your precious baby girl, Elizabeth. Rest in Peace Igal.

Glad we were able to enjoy a few slices of pizza when I was in town for the US Open in 2019.  We knew each other for 60 years.
