Gene Silverman, an NYC public school teacher for 36 years is pre-deceased by his beloved wife, Betty Silverman, formerly the educational advisor to Claire Schulman, Borough President of Queens NY.
He was much loved by his three daughters, Judi, Gail and Marsha, their spouses, and his four grandchildren.
He dedicated his life to education and stood for justice. He will be missed.

A funeral service for Eugene will be held Wednesday, November 24, 2021 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Schwartz Brothers-Jeffer Memorial Chapels, 114-03 Queens Blvd, Forest Hills, NY 11375. Following the funeral service will be a committal service from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at Cedar Park Cemetery, 735 Forest Avenue, Paramus, NJ 07652.
