I am so sorry to hear that Richie passed away. He was always a good friend and a pleasure to be around.  He had a constant  smile for everyone.

Dear Pat and  Richie 
My condolences to you both and your extended family. Big Rich was a BIG part of many people’s life’s and he helped many out when in time of need. Rich was the BIG presence on 78th Road and we all looked up to him. Personally Richie helped me navigate through some hard times in my life and was there to guide me to make the right choices.  BIG Rich will be missed by many and I am forever grateful for him being in my life. 
Thank you Pat for always standing by him and also being a role model to me.

You were always my big brother and mentor growing up. You taught me, looked after me & showed me what life was really about. It was a TREMENDOUS HONOR to wear your NYPD SHIELD on my uniform knowing I would follow in your footsteps and make you proud. We went through alot together, both good, bad, happy & sad, but most of all you remain my beacon of light throughout my life. I LOVE YOU SO MUCH & WILL MISS YOU TREMENDOUSLY! MAY YOU REST IN ETERNAL PEACE!
