My sympathy to the Campbell Family on the passing of Michael,  what a lovely man.  We enjoyed his visits on many occasions where we'd meet up with him and other members of the family in Ballinasloe.  May he RIP.  Michael was a cousin of my late husband Wille, whose mom was Mary Ellen Staunton , a first cousin of Michael,  may they all have a heavenly meeting. 

It was with great sadness that we learned of the sad passing of Mike. Our heartfelt sympathies to his sons Michael, Charlie,  Billy daughters Mary, Pat, Joanie & to his extended family. 
We had some wonderful family vacations with Mike in Laburnum Ave NYC over the last number of years.  Trips to Rockaway beach & watching the Mets being just two of the highlights along with many more.  These are memories that we will cherish forever. 
It was a privilege to have known Mike and we will never forget him & his kindness. He will be in our thoughts and prayers forever. 
It was an honour to be part of his final journey.  May Mike rest in peace in his heavenly home.

To the Campbell Family,  we were so sorry to hear of the sad passing of Michael , a real  gentleman.  We used love his visits along with his late wife to Ireland, especially to the Staunton homestead here in Ballinalahy,  Menlough, and meeting in Ballinasloe in the more recent years. The memeories of him are great and indeed many, and my biggest regret is that i never visited NY, may he RIP.

Mr & Mrs Campbell were great friends of the McAllisters.  We will miss his easy smile, always at the ready to have a few laughs together.  Mr. Campbell will always be remembered in many ways by our family, but especially for coining the phrase at baseball games to the hot dog guy for “two pups & dirty them up”… I tell my grandkids that story to this day!  Our sympathies go out to all the Campbell kids, Michael, Mary,  Charlie, Billy, Patty & Joanie. … we had some fun times when I babysat you guys!  Love from Patti McAllister, & family.

So sorry Gil and I cannot be with you to personally offer condolences and to share our stories of your dad. I will miss seeing him on his daily strolls with Bridget, his encouraging words and advice he has offered us through the years. Discussions about the Mets always colorful. Always a joyous conversation when speaking of his children and grandchildren. Sharing heartwarming memories of your mom, Mary always brought on a smile. 
The Mayor of Laburnum Ave will be missed.

Uncle Mike loved all celebrations of family and life.  He especially loved celebrations of the sacraments (first communions, weddings, etc), St Patrick's Day and visits with Irish relatives both in New York and Ireland.  He especially loved children and dogs and made them feel special with the attention he showered on them.  My fondest memory of Uncle Mike is when he took all the kids (10 in total!)  to Rockaway Beach in July traveling through Forest Park, spending the day in the ocean and getting hot dogs and custard.  Enjoy your time with your heavenly family.  I will miss you.  Cathy Shea

Mary Campbell-Hooper of England sends her deepest sympathies to Michael's family at the loss of the kindest and sweetest gentleman. He visited us here with his late wife and a merry time was had by all. They just loved being driven down narrow English country lanes. He will be sadly lost. but never forgotten.

So sorry to hear the passing of our dear cousin Michael. We have many fond memories of Michael and Mary and extended family trips home to Chelsea. Michael, such a fun loving character who loved family life. It was a pleasure to listen to his funny stories and detailed accounts of family times gone by. He was always the perfect host and Bridie and Charlie, were honoured to have visited him in New York for wonderful shared memories that were talked about for years.  
We are thinking of you all at this sad time and praying for the happy repose of Michael's kind soul. Wishing you a lovely family time this weekend as you celebrate Michael's life.

So sorry to hear of the passing of Michael , a true gentleman with a big heart.
we used love his visits to Ireland as did he.
We have great memeories of him and our biggest regret is that we never got to visit him in the USA , he asked us so many times.

when our kids were young we had gates so they would be always closed especially when the kids were out playing, so when Michael would pull up in the car he would blow the hooter and the kids would run out to open the gates and of course Michael would tip them a Dollar they used think this was amazing and different looking money to ours, they often  speak of those days.
