Our deepest condolences for your loss. Mark was one of the funniest people I met, I still laugh when I think of some of the things he use to say. I know he also struggled a lot but kept on going.   He was a great artist and I really enjoyed seeing him in the musicals he performed in. I’m grateful to have met him and to have been your neighbor for the time we lived in Queens.

My condolences to the family. I knew Mark as a teenager and young man. He was so kind. I am so sorry for your loss.

So sorry for your loss. I had the pleasure of working onstage with Mark in The Mousetrap at Maggie’s Little Theater.  He was such a good actor and a kind, funny soul. I last saw him on May 21st when he came to see Prescription Murder in Douglaston and ate in a diner where our cast was celebrating the final matinee.  We spoke and he shared his onion rings.  He will be missed.  

So sad to lose Mark just a few months after Gary. Im glad he was able to live out his dream of acting.  ❤️🙏

Mark was my daughter’s stage dad over and over, each time with humor, joy, talent and kindness. We are forever grateful for his friendship and for all he was and all he did. He was a joy to work with, a joy to spend time with and a dear, dear friend.  Our theater communities will never be the same. 

Mark was so important to my Husband, Alan, and me.
He worked with us many times on Maggie's Little Theater shows. We shared laughs and listened to each other's complaints.... He helped us with electrical issues.... He was my imagined love interest in Guys and Dolls... I was the General and he was my Arvide.... My heart is broken 💔... Rest in peace.. But be assured you will not be forgotten.

Mark was one of the sweetest people I knew. Always a smiling face and a kind work. He was a fantastic actor and a blast to be around. RIP 🙏 I'm sure gonna miss him.

Mark was the source of a lot of smiles… on and off the stage.  One Mark memory that makes me smile is how he would come to a vocal audition with his own prepared choreography.  Mark was also a regular at my Zumba class, and the way he would yell out “WOO!” every time we got to a certain part of Mary J. Blige’s “Just Fine” led to this becoming his job.  Mark would go out of his way to share kind words, simply for the sake of being kind.  There was an underlying gentleness about him. I met Mark York when I joined the acting/singing company of STAR.  He was friendly open, courteous, friendly and always willing to use his old skills when necessary for a project to move forward.   He was gregarious and open and his Dominick The Donkey will never be surpassed.  His acting was spot on and he made himself available to whoever needed him when able.  
I never had coffee with him (my loss) but I know he'd be the one I'd treat anytime.  We shared a meal or two together each year and met to sing a lot at Christmas.   
Mark made himself known wherever he went not bombastically but with assurance of experience, caring and willingness.   He never turned down a request when asked and would probably give you the shirt off his back if asked.    I miss him already and I had not seen him in a while.   Dear Mark's family nothing I've said could ever replace the pain you feel but know that Mark was loved by all of us.
