A Prayer of Remembrance and Peace

Heavenly Father, We lift up to You the beautiful soul of Maria Paz Peñaloza, Who graced this world with warmth, laughter, and love. Though her time here was brief, she leaves behind a legacy that will never fade. In the hearts of her husband, her children, her family, and all who were blessed to know her. Lord Jesus Christ, welcome Maria into the light of Your eternal Kingdom. Let her find rest in Your arms, joy in Your presence, and glory everlasting. Wipe every tear from her eyes, and give her a crown of life. Be with her husband, O God—her life’s partner and protector. Strengthen him in this time of sorrow. Be with their children—guide them with her light and guard them with Your grace. Holy Spirit, Be the comfort that holds this family together, The peace that surpasses understanding, The hope that carries them forward. Let Maria’s love live on in the smiles of her children, In the memories shared, in the quiet strength that rises even through grief. May her life be remembered not for its brevity, but for its brilliance. Until we meet again in Your glory, Lord, Keep her safe in Your keeping, And keep us faithful in our journey home.

A visitation for Maria will be held Wednesday, April 23, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Frederick Funeral Home, 192-15 Northern Boulevard, Flushing, NY 11358.
