Beloved son of Joann Chu and the late Howard Chu. Loving brother of Josie(Alan) Lee, Eunice (Rich) Middlesworth, Nancy (Philip) Wong , Bonnie (Ed) Ng and the late Ruth Chu. Cherished uncle of Melissa Lee, Jonathan (Mary) Lee, Patrick Lee (grand nephew), Aidan Lee (grand nephew), Alison Lee, Matthew Wong, Danielle Wong, Nicholas (Catherine) Ngand Samantha Ng.

A visiting hours for John will be held Wednesday, September 27, 2023 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Frederick Funeral Home, 192-15 Northern Boulevard, Flushing, NY 11358. Following the visiting hours will be an interment at 1:00pm at Flushing Cemetery, 163-06 46th Avenue, Flushing, NY 11358.
