As our mom, who is now high above.

Gertrude (Trudy) Helen Wohlers

Gertrude Helen Wohlers, who was known as “Trudy” by her friends

and “Momma” by her family, departed her loved ones on

Friday, January 26, 2024 at the age of 94.

Trudy was born in New York City on April 3, 1929 to

Gustav and Gertrude Allnach.

Trudy was mother to her children Bob, Steven, Diane, Deborah, William and

Michael, whom she raised with lots of love in Franklin Square, Long Island

and in Leesburg, Florida with her husband William (Bill) Wohlers.

And what a wonderful mother she was! All of her children have

wonderful memories growing up, especially the holidays where

Momma always made them seem wondrous.

She is survived by her 6 children, 15 grandchildren and 16

great grandchildren.

The family of Gertrude (Trudy) will be held Saturday, February 3, 2024 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at Frederick Funeral Home, 192-15 Northern Boulevard, Flushing, NY 11358. Following the visiting hours will be an interment at 10:00 AM Flushing Cemetery, 163-06 46th Avenue, Flushing, NY 11358.
