Georgia E. Clear, age 96, of Manhasset, New York, passed away peacefully on September 24, 2024. She was the beloved wife of the late Cyrus (Spiro) Clear and a loving mother to Linda Joannidis, Cynthia Clear-Fuhrer (Dr. Robert Fuhrer), and Christina (Vladimir) Siroky. Georgia was a cherished grandmother to Dean (Jennifer) Siroky and Dr. Gregory (Lauren) Siroky, and an adored great-grandmother to Theodore, Christopher, and James.
A devoted member of her church and a woman of deep faith, Georgia's love for God was evident in all aspects of her life. She cherished Greek proverbs, philosophy, and the rich tapestry of Greek culture, which shaped her values and passions. An accomplished artist and musician, Georgia found joy in playing the piano, singing, dancing and expressing her creativity.
The family of Georgia E. Clear will be receiving visitors on Sunday, September 29, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Frederick Funeral Home, located at 192-15 Northern Boulevard, Flushing, NY 11358. The Funeral Liturgy will take place on Monday, September 30, 2024, at 11:00 AM at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Shrine Church, 196-10 Northern Blvd, New York, NY 11358. Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, 127-15 Kew Gardens Rd, New York, NY 11415.
