At the three year anniversary of Eric’s passing I just wanted to let his family know that my kids and I still talk about Eric regularly.  We lived at the Cass Gilbert for a number of years and Eric was always such a bright spot in our day - we still remember his kindness, positivity and fun spirit as well as his adoration for his family - he always talked so fondly about his wife, daughter and son. Eric invites me out for dinner one night 
He picks me up at my house and I ask where we’re going. He tells me sit  back and relax. Before I know it we’re in the Bronx and I’m sitting down to the best 
Mofongo con Camerones in the world. Then the restaurant converts into a salsa club and while we are eating people are dancing all around us we were the last table to finish and we just hung out listened some great music and bonded.
One of the best nights I’ve ever had.


Hey broski just here reminiscing of many great memories we shared. Early I tried to watch the Yankee game and it sucked even thou they kicking ass.. Judge picked up right where he left off.  Smashing that baseball ⚾️.   You always was my go to on sports, amongst many other good things we shared. Miss you to bits my broski.  God rest your soul and I love you broski.....🙏🏽💯💪🏽❤️

Happy Father’s Day my brother. Today is tuff because we would always send Father’s Day greetings and every holiday as well.  You’ve been missed every day since God’s calling. We are so sad to hear the news of Eric's passing. He was devoted to his family, his work and making everyday the best it could be for everyone he came into contact with. He truly cared about people and helping them. He was one of the team who made life at the at the Cass-Gilbert  special. We miss him terribly, he was so full of life and vitality. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Ramos-Toro family.

As our doorman, Eric was always incredibly kind and focused on making all residents feel special. He will be truly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. 

We are so sad to hear about Eric's passing. He was a great man, a great doorman, ever helpful, kind, charming, optimistic, easy going, attentive. Such a loss. Sending love to the Ramos-Toro family from Jeff and Jeff at the Cass Gilbert.

To Eric’s Family - We were so incredibly saddened to learn of Eric’s passing.  He was an amazingly positive and caring person and we were so lucky to have known him.  I know how much he took pride in his work, enjoyed life, was always able to keep perspective, and most of all, loved and felt great pride for his family.  We are so, so sorry.
