A devoted mother, Carol is survived by her children: Debra Eldridge, Linda Lobosco, Ronald Eldridge Jr., and Susan Delia. She was the proud and cherished grandmother of Carolyn, Danielle, Jessica, Vincent, Christen, Corey, Joseph, and Esme. Affectionately known as "Nanny," Carol was also a beloved great-grandmother to Dustin, Madilyn, Joseph, Annalyn, Blake, Paul, Emma, Gianna, Kenna, and Kepler — each of whom brought immense joy to her life.
She had a career as a dressmaker and seamstress, always sharing her talent to hem and tailor garments for her friends and family. Later in life, she found joy working in food service for the New York City Board of Education, where she continued to care for others with her warm smile and generous spirit.
Carol was predeceased by her parents, Theodore and Emma Spagna, and her dear brother, Theodore Spagna Jr. (“Teddy”), whose memory she held close throughout her life.
To those who knew her, Carol was a source of warmth and unconditional love. Her home was always open, her arms always welcoming, and her heart endlessly generous. She leaves behind a legacy of family, strength, and the kind of love that continues to echo through generations.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
