Nicholas "Nick" Jeffrey Dimmitt

Nicholas "Nick" Jeffrey Dimmitt, age 45, of Bay City, Michigan passed away on Tuesday, October 18, 2022. Nick was born on September 2, 1977 to Jeff Dimmitt and Helen Haggadone. On January 14, 2004 he married the love of his life, Brandy. Together they loved to explore the countryside and make memories with their children. Nick was a huge music lover and had a vast eclectic collection of vinyl; The Grateful Dead, Ween and Phish were among his favorites. He also fully restored a 1978 VW Bus which he affectionately called "Stella Blue." He loved to take trips and camp in Stella Blue, enjoying all the outdoors had to offer. But above all, Nick enjoyed every moment spent with his family, especially his children. Nick’s favorite topic was always his children. He was a loving and devoted father that always placed his children first. Nick was a wonderful man and will be deeply missed. Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Brandy Dimmitt; children: Shelby Kozak and Perrin Dimmitt; mother, Helen Haggadone; father, Jeff (Paula) Dimmitt; siblings: Michael Dimmitt, Kevin Dimmitt, Kacie Dimmitt, Lindsey Mallette and Miles Haggadone; father and mother in law: Charley and Anita Davenport. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Herbert and Eddie Dimmitt; and grandmother, Rose Medich. A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at 1pm at Bay Valley Christian Church - 2535 Wilder Road, Bay City, Michigan. In honor of Nick's love of music, the family requests that attendee's come dressed in their favorite music artist's t-shirt.
