John Erickson

ERICKSON, John – age 70, passed away on July 19, 2017 in Flint, Michigan. Visitation will be held from 10am – 2pm on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at Reigle Funeral Home – 5501 W. Pierson Road, Flushing, Michigan. Military Honors will be performed at 2pm Saturday, July 22, 2017 at Reigle Funeral Home. John was born on July 12, 1947 in Flint, Michigan to Robert and Agnes (Berwick) Erickson. John proudly served his country for over 20 years in the United States Navy. He served during both Vietnam and Persian Gulf Wars. He was a member of the Moose Lodge in Flushing. John traveled the world exploring every continent. For several years, he traveled to Mexico at least twice a year until he finally moved there. He loved to golf, fish, and spend every moment he could outside. John was a generous, outgoing, and compassionate man who will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his children: Daniel (Tori) Erickson and Jennifer Erickson; grandchildren: Blake, Kendall, Devin; and brother, Tom (Alicia) Erickson.
