Joanne Jones

Joanne Jones, age 76, of Flint, Michigan passed away on Friday, December 1, 2023. Joanne was born on September 3, 1947. was born in Flint, Michigan on September 3, 1947, the daughter of the late James Jones, Sr. and Lucille (Gordon) Jacobs. She was a lifelong resident of Flint and graduated in 1965 from Flint Northern High. Joanne worked as a Pharmacy Tech for over 25 years at Rite Aid pharmacy before retiring. She late became employed at Kroger and continued her career as a Pharmacy Tech for 17 years until her death. Joanne enjoyed going to the Casinos and "shopping" at garage sales with her friend Caroline. Joanne had a big heart and was always willing to lend a helping hand.

Joanne leaves to cherish her memory, brother Joseph (Rosie) Jacobs, Jr.; nieces and nephews: Arlen (Patty) Beasley, Dana (Patrice) Beasley, Sabrina Jones, Jimmy Jones, Moshea Ivory; and dear friend Caroline Harris. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Jimmie Jones; sisters, Rozella Jones and Mary Beasley. The family would like to thank her coworkers at Kroger for all their help and support during this difficult time. Per Joanne's wishes, cremation has already taken place.
