It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Helen Marie Hodge, age 94, a beloved friend, and advocate for both people and animals. Helen departed this world on Wednesday, April 9, 2025., leaving behind a legacy of compassion and kindness that touched the lives of many.
Helen had a passion for gardening. Her vibrant flower garden was a testament to her dedication and care.
She is survived by her sister; Nora Jean Howard, her children; David Hodge, Carolyn Spencer and Diane Souther, as well as countless friends and loved ones who were fortunate enough to know her. She is preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Hodge, sons; Robert Hodge, Thomas Hodge and Gary Hodge; parents; James and Wilma Howard.
A funeral visitation for Helen will be held Friday, April 11, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Reigle Funeral Home, 5501 W. Pierson Road, Flushing, Michigan 48433.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Helen's memory may be made to The Humane Society of Genesee County, G-3325 S. Dort Hwy., Burton, Michigan 48529 US.
