Georgia Nicoloff, age 78, of Flushing, Michigan passed away on Saturday, September 4, 2021. She was born to the late Zahari and Bilca (Stojanov) Nicoloff on May 6, 1943 in Flint, Michigan. Georgia was a member of St. Nicholas Orthodox Church in Burton, and Spirit of Promise in Montrose. She earned her GED from Mott Adult High School. For a number of years, Georgia worked at her father's bakery, and then later she worked at Easter Seals. She enjoyed painting, ceramics, playing the accordion, bowling, and spending time with her great niece and nephew, Hannah and Zachary. Georgia also loved going to the Flushing Senior Center. She was always full of life and had the wonderful Spirit of God with her wherever she went. Georgia will be dearly missed by her family, and all who had the privilege to know her.
Georgia leaves behind her nephews, Zac (Kimberly) Aleksovski of Flushing and Steve (Sheri) Nicoloff of Goodrich; niece, Vivian (Jim) Benelli of Grand Blanc; sister in law, Lydia Nicoloff of Flint; and her four loving great nieces and two loving great nephews.
Georgia is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Mihalcho, Steven, and Nick Nicoloff; sister, Mary Aleksovski; nephew, Michael Aleksovski; and twin great nieces, Ashley and Brittany.
The family would like to show their heartfelt appreciation to the Medilodge in Montrose and McLaren Hospice.
The family will greet family and friends from 9:00am until the time of funeral service at 11:00am, which will be officiated by Rev. Frank NewVine, on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Reigle Funeral Home, 5501 W. Pierson Rd., Flushing, Michigan. Following the service, she will be interred at Gracelawn Cemetery, Flint.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Spirit of Promise in Montrose.
