Denise Bower

BOWER, Denise (Rice) of Flushing – age 53 passed away peacefully on August 19, 2016 surrounded by her family. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at 1 p.m., at Reigle Funeral Home – 5501 W. Pierson Rd., Flushing, MI 48433. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, August 23, 2016 from 12 p.m. - 8 p.m and on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at Reigle Funeral Home. Denise was born on December 19, 1962 in Flint MI to parents Donald and Janet Rice. Lifelong Flushing resident and graduate, Denise loved her family and all children. She taught computer skills for Flushing Schools. She enjoyed volunteering with youth sports activities and Judy’s School of Dance for more than 20 years. Denise is survived by her husband Kirk Bower; children Ryan, Austin and Amanda Bower; mother Janet Rice; father Donald (Josie) Rice of Desert Hot Springs CA; sister Debi (Tim) Fagan; sister Jen (Aaron) Lotto of Palm Desert CA; and countless cherished relatives and dear friends.
