Victor P Young

Victor P. Young age 65, Of Palm Coast, Florida passed away Friday, September 6, 2019. Victor was born on December 4, 1953 in San Diego California to the late Edward P. Young and Maria Goulart. He spent much of his childhood in Pico, Azores living on base with his father, who was in the US Air Force, mother, brother and sister.

During his high school years he moved to Plymouth, Ma where he spent much of his adult life. He met his wife, Maria Stapleton Young and was a loving father to 2 daughters. After the passing of his wife in 1992, he and his daughters moved to South Carolina, where he continued to enjoy his favorite past times of boating and fishing.

In his later years, Victor moved to Palm Coast, as he was comforted by the town where his late mother had lived. He loved the beach. He enjoyed chatting with folks down by the pier at Flagler Beach, finding the best restaurants that served raw oysters and cooking.

He is survived by his daughters, Chantel (John) Tai of Bluffton South Carolina; Faye Young of Ventura, California; two grandchildren, Jade and Siena, and his sister, Yvonne Davis of Fort Washington Maryland. A private memorial honoring his life will be celebrated at sea.
