Tyler’s big smile, humor, generosity, kindness, and love will be forever remembered by his family and countless friends. He was born with a sweet, kind spirit with a little wild side and moxie. A true avid outdoorsman, he was fearless and lived life on the edge. He wouldn’t think twice about catching a gator, surfing during a hurricane, eating raw oysters plucked straight out of the Intracoastal or kayaking from the Palm Coast canals to Faver Dykes Park for a day of fishing.
Tyler was a great athlete playing t-ball, baseball, football, soccer, shooting some hoops, and even an occasional round of golf. He was such a die-hard Dallas Cowboys football fan; he attended Dallas games, regularly donned the latest team hat, and always had a jersey on while watching his team play.
Tyler was also very skilled at working with his hands, whether restoring a boat, fixing his motorcycle, helping an uncle build a deck, or working at his carpentry job, where he was greatly loved.
His love for the outdoors and fixing things was only surpassed by his immense love for his children. Everyone knew Tyler was an amazing father who loved spending quality time with his kids. His last weekend was spent fishing with them.
He was preceded in death by his Grandma, Pepi Lopez Perkins, on December 31, 2011. He was very close to her and missed her dearly ever since.
Tyler will be sorely missed and always remembered with much love by:
Morgan Perkins and their two beautiful children Tyler Jameson (TJ) and Octavia
His parents: Michelle & David Cole and Joe & Lisa Perkins
Siblings: Justin, Jessica, Christopher, Michael, Stacy, Ashley & Matthew
And numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
Tyler, a father to two and a brother to many, will be missed more than any words could express, but he will be forever in our hearts until we meet again.
A Celebration of Life service for Tyler will be held at 1 PM on Saturday, January 27, 2024, at Lighthouse Bible Church, 15 Hargrove Grade, Palm Coast, FL.
