Born on March 28, 1947, in New York, New York, Thomas was the son of Thomas G. Wolfe Sr. and Helen Gushwa Wolfe. He spent his formative years in New York, where he graduated from Vermont Academy at the age of 13. Continuing his academic journey, Thomas earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Trinity College in Hartford, CT.
At the age of 21, Thomas joined the United States Marine Corps, dedicating three years to serving his country. Following an honorable discharge, he embarked on a distinguished career with the New York Telephone Company, later known as Verizon. His professional journey led him to Asia and Europe, where he served as the Operations Manager. In 1996, Thomas achieved a significant milestone, graduating from the University of the Philippines with a Master's Degree in Economics. After a dedicated thirty-year career, he retired and relocated to Florida.
Thomas found joy in various activities, becoming an active member of the Flagler Gun & Archery Club. He shared his passion for skeet shooting as an instructor. Golf and college football, particularly games featuring Notre Dame and the University of Florida, were among his favorite pastimes.
Thomas is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, the former Rose Marie Ferrara. He also leaves behind two brothers, John (Mary Lynn) Wolfe and James (Diane) Wolfe, both residing in New York. Numerous nieces and nephews mourn the loss of their beloved uncle.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Saturday, March 16, 2024, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home. A memorial service in celebration of Thomas's life will follow at 2:00 PM.
