Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm Saturday, December 10th, 2022 at Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm Saturday, at the funeral home, prior to the service.
Matthew was born May 2, 1992, in Livingston, New Jersey. Fun, loving and outgoing, Matthew loved to entertain people and especially loved spending time with his family, spoiling his wife Erin and their children. A veritable YouTube professional and ambitious jack of all trades, Matthew wasn’t afraid to try his hand at anything and seldom met a task he couldn’t conquer.
Matthew is survived by his loving wife- Erin Fernandes of Palm Coast; daughter- Audrey Fernandes; son- Alex Fernandes; father- Victor Fernandes and step-father- Christopher de Verre of Hawaii; mother- Fatima Lavado of Palm Coast; brother- Michael Fernandes of New Jersey. Sister- Ashley Ruivo and brother- Tyler Ruivo of Palm Coast; mother-in-law-Patty Bruce and Lisa Bruce; father and mother-in-law- Ray and Julie Lester and a number of other family and friends also survive.
