Mary G. Romano

Mary G. Romano 94 of Palm Coast FL, formerly of Rocky Hill, CT passed away Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at the Bridgeview Center, Ormond Beach. Mrs. Romano was born on August 28, 1923 in Cerchio, Aquila, Italy a daughter of the late Antonio and Maria Cypriani Maccalini. A devoted and loving mother, Mary always made her family the most important aspect of her day. She loved to cook for her children and their friends as they were growing up and always made enough to feed the neighborhood children. She was an adoring wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Preceding her in death were her husband, Giovanni Romano and her son, John A. Romano. Surviving are her daughter, Maryann Ferla of Flagler Beach, a son Anthony F. Romano of Palm Coast, three grandchildren Allison Mary Romano of Weehawken, NJ, John P and Jasmin Romano of Long Valley, NJ, John Jay Ferla and five great grandchildren. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated later in Rocky Hill, CT with burial to follow in her family plot with her husband and mother. Arrangements are in the care and trust of Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home, Flagler Beach, FL.
