Margaret Ann Nelson

Margaret Ann Nelson, 93 of Bunnell, Florida passed away on September 22, 2023 at Community Hospice Bailey Family Center for Caring. She was born on July 12, 1930 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late William Marian Young. She met and married the love of her life Leroy Nelson and together they raised their daughters in Baltimore, Maryland. They decided they would retire to Florida to enjoy the warmer weather. Margaret enjoyed trips to Hawaii, sewing, counting cross-stitch, silk flowers and collecting Angels. Donations in her memory may be made to The American Cancer Society. She was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Leroy Nelson in 2013; 2 brothers and 1 sister. Survivors include her daughters, Ellen Eckenrode, Sharon (David) Wells; grandchildren, Shannon Andersen and Christopher Wells; 6 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Betty Young and many more loving relatives and friends.

A visitation for Margaret will be held Tuesday, October 3, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Craig Flagler Palms Funeral Home, 511 Old Kings Road South, Flagler Beach, Florida 32136. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at 10:00 AM, 511 Old Kings Road South, Flagler Beach, Florida 32136. An interment will occur Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at 1:30 PM at Florida National Cemetery, 6502 SW 102nd Ave, Bushnell, Florida 33513.
