Ronda Dotson, a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 30, 2024, in Palm Coast, Florida. Born on August 31, 1963, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Ronda lived a vibrant life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.
Ronda's journey began in Cincinnati, where she nurtured a zest for life and a warm heart. Her love for the beach led her to Daytona Beach, where she met her soulmate, Billy Dotson. Together, they built a beautiful life and welcomed their cherished daughter, Ashley.
Ronda's passion for the ocean and her family was unwavering. She found solace and joy in the gentle waves and the company of her loved ones. Ronda's dedication to her work at Walmart was admirable, and her retirement years were filled with blissful moments spent on the beach with her husband.
Ronda's infectious smile and sweet voice brightened every room she entered. She loved spending time setting up her daughter's classroom and enjoyed shopping together. She also loved spending time with her best friend, Karen, reminiscing on their beautiful life together. Ronda had a deep love for Jesus and was proud to be baptized again with her daughter and best friends, Scott and Karen.
Her love for her dogs and her talent for home decor were well-known. She was a source of inspiration and kindness to all who knew her.
Ronda is survived by her daughter, Ashley Dotson of Palm Coast; her father, Oakley Sester of Cincinnati; her brother and sister-in-law, Rick and Becki Sester of Batavia; her mother-in-law, Nancy Dotson of Akron; and her lifelong friends, Scott and Karen Mikulski of Palm Coast. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Billy Dotson, her father-in-law, Bill Dotson, and her beloved mother, Frieda Sester.
A celebration of Ronda's life will be held at a future date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Flagler County Education Foundation, a cause that was dear to Ronda's heart.
Ronda will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
