June was born on December 14th, 1935 in Detroit, Michigan to Floyd and Corinne Boulton. She moved to Florida as a child where she spent most of her life. On April 18th, 1954, she married the love of her life, Henry Wilbur Holdridge Jr, and was married for 64 years until his passing in December 2018. June is survived by her daughters, Debbi Nichols (Jim) of Barberville, FL and Darlene Galvin (Jim) of Screven, GA; seven grandchildren: Melinda Hannah (Ian), Stacey Decamp (Dan), Kandace Galvin, Kenny Galvin (Norah), Jamey Galvin (Becca), Kris Nichols and Jennifer Nichols; nine great-grandchildren Alex Galvin, Christopher Grayson (Alexis), Hunter Grayson, Skylar Ford, Macy Galvin, Capp Galvin, Caleb Decamp, Ryder Decamp, and Ripken Galvin; and eight great-great-grandchildren. June was a devoted member of the First Baptist Church of Bunnell since the early 1960s. She was always in the church kitchen supervising and serving, and she was also the church secretary for many years after her retirement from working as a bookkeeper for the Ford dealership in Bunnell. June also served as a houseparent for the New Mexico Boy's Youth Ranch, where she cared for many foster children.
June enjoyed gardening in her younger years and traveling out West with Wilbur. She loved visiting with her friends and going to yard sales. She always looked forward to the annual church rummage sale and loved sitting on her back porch to watch the wildlife that would come out in her yard.
June will be greatly missed by her family and many friends. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to the FBC Bunnell Building Fund-Kitchen to help rebuild the kitchen that she so loved.
The family will be receiving visitors on Friday, March 10th at 10:00 am at the First Baptist Church of Bunnell, located at 2301 Commerce Parkway. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 am, followed by interment at Espanola Cemetery. June will be remembered for her kind heart, devotion to her family, and her love for her church community.
