John Dyer III, “Jay”, born on October 24, 1947 in Paterson, New Jersey, passed away at the age of 71 on February 27, 2019 in Palm Coast, Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Bess Dyer. Jay previously lived in Beach Haven, NJ and Grand Rapids, MI. He is survived by his cherished daughter, Alexis Rose Dyer of Knoxville, TN and his sisters, Lynn Moore (Doug) of Matamoras, PA and Joan Konnor (Jeff) of Beach Haven, NJ, a niece, Michelle Dooley, and three nephews, Page, Chris and Steve Konnor. He will be missed by his family, extended family and his wonderful group of friends. He was an all-state basketball player, a lover of golf and baseball cards, and a man who walked to the beat of his own drum. Jay was witty, sometimes charming, sometimes irascible, always loved.
