Jerry Wayne Hutcheson, 72, of Bunnell, Florida entered into rest at his home surrounded by his family on April 22, 2024. Jerry was born in Clermont, FL to Joseph and Clarkie Hutcheson on March 4, 1952. Jerry joined the Marines in 1969, serving for 4 years. After returning home from his tour in the Vietnam war, he began working for FPL and ultimately became the Chief Line Specialist of North FL retiring after 49 years of service to the company.
Jerry is survived by his loving family, wife Debbie Hutcheson, their son Greg Hutcheson & daughter-in-law Lisa Hutcheson, their daughter Beckie Simmons & partner Doug Glasco, and grandchildren Dalton Simmons, Logan Hutcheson, Joseph Hutcheson & Bella Glasco and bonus grandchildren Russel, Alex, Brennan and Destini. He is also survived by his sisters Silva Smith and Melba Cannon and their families along with many other family and friends who love him dearly.
There will be a Celebration of Life for Jerry on Thursday, May 23, 2024 at 11am at Haw Creek Community Center 9257 County Rd 304, Bunnell, FL 32110.
Jerry was an amazing man who loved to hunt and be outdoors, he loved his family and friends deeply. He will be genuinely missed by all who knew and loved him and will never be forgotten.
