C. Claire Tyrrell

A vigil service will be held on Monday, August 13 at 7:00 PM for C. Claire Tyrrell 89 of Palm Coast in the chapel of Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home, 511 Old Kings Road S. Flagler Beach, with Deacon Mike Moody officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:30 until 7:30 PM at the Funeral Home. Additional services will be held in Florham Park NJ at the Leonardis Funeral Home with burial to be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover NJ. Mrs. Tyrrell a resident of Palm Coast for the past 10 years passed away on Friday August 10, 2018 in the Stuart F. Meyer Hospice House. She was born in Orange NJ, August 12, 1928 a daughter of the late Anthony and Cecilia O’Brien Albert. Claire raised her family in Florham Park NJ where she lived prior to moving to Palm Coast. She worked at the Morris County Department on Aging and Booz-Allen Hamilton. A former member of the VFW Auxiliary, Mrs. Tyrrell enjoyed writing, jewelry design, and horseback riding earlier in her life. Claire loved her pets and always had room to shelter and foster another stray. She was preceded in death by her husband Arthur, a son Elliott and a daughter Connie Ball. Surviving are her son Arthur Tyrrell Jr. three grandchildren Vanessa, Olivia and Thomas and a great granddaughter, Audrina Claire Atkison. The family suggests memorial contributions to the Stuart F.
